The challenge
BYPC wanted to evaluate the possibility of establishing a Joint Venture (JV) company to manage and operate wastewater collection, treatment, reuse and disposal facilities at the Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical industrial site in Yanshan. Effluents on the petrochemical complex came from three chemical plants, a power plant, a refinery, a rubber plant and residential areas.
Therefore, the company was looking for a partner with experience in the treatment of multiple sources of effluents (industrials and municipal) in order to improve operation and maintenance of the global wastewater system and to increase the capacity and efficiency of reclamation units.
