Kumho Petrochemical Resin Ulsan

CHALLENGE

Water treatment is of primary concern for a petrochemical complex for two reasons. First, process water must meet stringent specifications for quality petrochemical production. Secondly, cooling water is crucial and regarded as the most critical process in such a complex.

Kumho Resin was looking for a contractor to supply the required volumes of quality water, treat wastewater to discharge standards and ensure continuity of services, while minimizing costs and controlling regulatory risks.

OBJECTIVES

The expected result of this 15 years partnership is a significant improvement in the reliability and efficiency of the water and wastewater facilities in order to assure continuous service and sustainable quality.

Veolia Water provides Kumho Resin with operation and maintenance for cooling water, process water, demineralized water, potable water and wastewater treatment facilities on the Ulsan Resin plant.
