In March 2010, Veolia Water Korea has been awarded a new contract with Dongbu Steel for the AOT (Acquire-Operate-Transfer) of its existing water and wastewater treatment facilities for its two major cold-rolled steel plants in Asan Bay and Incheon respectively, for a period of 15 years.
It is the second project awarded by Dongbu Steel to Veolia Water Korea, requiring all our technical expertise in water supply and wastewater treatments for industrial needs.
With this contract, a mutual win-win partnership marks another step forward to long-term collaborations. We will deploy our proven technological solutions and operational know-how to optimize the facilities and address environmental concerns.
This contract allows Dongbu Steel to focus on its core competencies. while entrusting Veolia Water Korea's operational expertise in water treatments.
VWK provides Dongbu Steel with the optimization of operation costs on water and wastewater treatment facilities, as well as sustainable quality and quantity of water.
Our goal is to provide them with reliable service in terms of continuity of production and water quality. As well, our aim is to upgrade the existing facilities to enhance technical and environmental performances.
