World Water Day March 22, 2011
Veolia Water Korea conducted diverse environmental corporate social activies at various sites for the 19th World Water Day on March 22.
Diverse social initiatives took place at eight sites with the aim to deliver the message of the importance of water. Clean-up campaigns took place from March 18 to March 26 with employees and their family members taking part to help clean up nearby valleys, rivers, and coastal areas. Water Box education programs organized for students earned big acclaims from students and schools. The Water Box program was offered to Jangcheon Elementary School in Incheon, Hwangsang Elementary School in Gumi, and Ungdo branch of Daesan Elementary School.
